DESCRIPTION:Ben Coleman is a TX/SC singer songwriter. At age 12 he began teaching himself guitar and fell in love with the instrument. Although continually writing songs and recording instrumentals\, Ben never sang in front of an audience until he was 22. “I always fancied myself a guitarist\, not a singer\, but I got drunk one night at an open mic in Colorado and someone let me play their guitar and sing”. Ben played lead guitar and sang in a folk rock band in Colorado called Full Moon Float and released the EP “Full Moon Float” on iTunes/Spotify before the band split up. Ben’s songwriting has evolved into a blended folk interpretation of influences such as The Gaslight Anthem\, Alabama Shakes\, Kings of Leon\, Trampled by Turtles and more.
