Bois D’arc Red was formed in Fannin County, Texas just south of the Red River and northwest of Bois D’arc Lake. Right smack dab in the middle of no where.

By developing that backwoods rhythm guitar style and structure (Matt Foreman), driven by that deep flowing bass (Joey Bideler), those wildly captivating lead tones and rides (Jeff Sterzer), a hard hitting drum backbone (Mike Cochran) and finally all delivered by a familiar but unique smooth melody driven country vocal (E.J. Miller) that can’t be ignored. This hodgepodge of local talent has a broad spectrum of influences ranging from Gospel, Texas Country, Outlaw Country, Honky Tonk and Chicken Picking. All the way to Rock, Southern Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Alternative, and even Heavy Metal.
